i feel like that day changed so much history and charted a new course for america that we've been unable to steer back into prosperity since. were so off course right now its scary. all media and politicians decieve and lie now no one can tell when their telling the truth. kennedys death made it easier for idiots like LBJ nixon ford and even reagan and bush win office. its sad how much we lost that day

While Kennedy wasn't interested in the space aside from political reasons. Going to the moon is one of the greatest things we've ever done. I'm glad he pushed for that effort.
It's a testament of what we can do with our intelligence, rationality and will.
