It is a longer story, not all of which I will tell...they had good reason to be chasing me...they were both very nice and fun men as most of the stars were. Just people is all they were, there were a couple that were not very friendly...just like all folks..some nice some not.

Oh yeah he yelled at me, his mother was sick and I was screaming running from Freddie Fender and Marty Robbins. Told me he said to keep it quiet out in the hall and he meant it his mother...this was about the time I spun around and headed off into Dolly's dressing room to hide from Freddie and Marty. We were there a week at night doing practice runs and learning the routine they wanted us to do for the show. It was televised nationwide.
