it was reported recently that american forces deserted a convoy of truck when it was attacked leaving the truckers to be killed apart from a few, total cowardice;

To be expected from forces that fight from behind a computer screen most of the time; its technology not skill that wins american wars.

My cousin used to train soldiers in survival and he always reported the same thing, the US troops are cowboys or picked from unemployable trailer trash and the politicians are no better.

I just checked the Army news channel. ALL officers were cleared of negligence in the battle. Even the shit head that sent them up there with low supplies and inadequate man power. I rather that than a good captain getting ran out of the army.

How the hell is that the captains fault? Stupid ass staff officers sitting comfortably at Kandahar air base have the nerve to blame the combat vet. It is those types of idiots that made me not want to reenlist in the Army back in 2007.

"Failed to build adaquate defences' - Jesus, you'd need a company of Feild Engineers and heavy equipment and a month of time to build anything capable of withstanding direct fire from that high ground around the position.

why are people saying they fought off the enemy???? they didnt, they got overun cald in broken arrow (airstrike on friendly occupied/non occupied base) on themselvs..... it held up the attack long enough for them to abandon the base so then enemy moved init. US arttilary bombd fuk out of the base four hours later. im not disin the soldiers cuz i have ldz of respect for them. and the CO that got screwd for this i think was wrong cuz he had no supplies to work with
