I applaud Rev. D'Escoto for his efforts, but even he had to admit it is impossible to inject morality to an entity that has No Soul.

I once believed that the UN body was a forum where all member nations could come to the table as equals but it appears that the 5 permanent members of the Security Council will not allow the UN to become a noble democratic forum of international peace and cooperation. The UN has failed, because the permanent members of the Security Council have strangled the democracy out of this World body. We are all living in their tyranny. The UN has failed as the previous League of Nations did after WW1.

Otherwise these threats will arise and the worlds people will not be able to speak with a single voice, and more importantly, to act as a unified force against threat.The greedy elites are still in power, worldwide. They work behind the scenes, that is the tragedy. But, may be, destructiveness may lead to self-destruction, sooner or later.

These issues are not confronted in the United Nations, even if theyre discussed and debated. Resolutions are designed to help remedy the problems, but ultimately it depends upon the will of the individual state to implement, monitor, report, analyze results, and make adjustments, and this is not enforced in any reasonable manner. Required is the ability to enforce and adjust resolutions based on sound analysis.

Unless the nations of the world are united (not to be confused with NWO) they will respond too slowly to the threats, and the decay forces will have such traction that they may be impossible to reverse.

But isnt this why the United Nations was formed? To deal with these very issues?

The threats that will confront the human population in the 21st century will be global issues whether they are intractable recessions, dwindling oil supplies, food distribution, overpopulation, pollution, nuclear fallout, they will require a global, coordinated response.
