Yes, I'm a little obnoxious in this video and come off a little more arrogant than I am in real life. Sorry it sounds like you're in school and getting lectured by some stuffy teacher, haha.

I was unintentionally sexist in this video. I have only been pierced by four people & they've all been males so my mind immediately goes with "he". Obviously, girls are piercers too! =D

Please put any questions below! & Please, if I gave any bad advice, correct it! I do NOT want to end up causing anyone any damage.

I forgot to say why I can't wear wood jewelry! When the guy scalpeled my ears, he told me I could put in wood. I asked him if it would be too porous, he said it'd be fine.. My ears fused to the wood. I had to essentially rip them out & they were very, very, very infected for a very long time. They hurt so bad, they were feverish, and it made my jaw hurt, my face, and I had a headache that would come & go. I put in glass, which is awesome in the ears, and did sea salt until they were better. h20 was my best friend. i'd soak them & use h20. However, now if I try to wear wood in my lobes, they get really itchy after about 24 hours, and eventually get feverish and irritated. That will unfortunately never go away (to the best of my knowledge).

I will put pictures of my ears being scalpeled up on my blog & put a link here when they're up. There is a lot of blood & I don't want youtube to remove the video.

Also, I don't remember is it's scalepelled or scalpeled. Sorry.

  • My lobes were pierced when I was 8 via gun, and they became repeatedly infected, so I took the studs out for 10+ years. I'm 23 now and it NEVER healed. I've recently tried to re-do my ears, but the one of course never healed up, can I stretch it?? (only ever planning on going up to a 0g)

I actually put a new, titanium stud in it recently and it swelled up so bad that the new piercing next to it bruised. :\

  • @FiraFlame As long as your placement is good (equal to the other side), then go for it. If it hasn't closed in 10+ years, it's not going to, haha.

My only concern is that your other piercing might be too close and might end up migrating into your stretched piercing over time. Is there a piercing in your city that you trust? can you go ask them for advice?

  • Oil?

What should I do, and how long should I wait until my next stretch?

    Please help, thank you.

  • @WallofIron what are you stretching with? i'm guessing acrylic or some type of irritating tape. you need to use something different for stretching, acrylic is really only for healed ears, and even then, it can irritate some.

  • I don't want to sound like I'm putting this video down in anyway, it was REALLY helpful, but Teflon and electrical tape are not good for your ears at all. Electrical tape is the worst. It's not only adhesive-based, but very porous. Porous tapes can allow your ear to heal into the pores and become a huge mess. Adhesive-based tapes are the worst because, well you don't need any sticky substances near a healing lobes. You need to use tape that sticks to nothing but itself, such as bondage tape.

  • @FiraFlame I always had problems with my lobes, which were shot also with a gun when I was younger than you. So everytime when i had normal sized piercings in my ears, they started to hurt and seemed to be permanently hurt. Since I have my lobes stretched, I have no longer problems, they are healthy and of course very beautiful :)

  • nice i id all my parsings my self with a non hallow needle they all turned out good o after care no nothing i played with them took them out befor they healed but then again i heal fast my gages i went from a 16 to a 0gage in 2 weeks and turned out good lol a friend showed me u can just use electrician tape on a on screw on tunnel or a plug every week it will get u higher gage then just using tapper ps how much blow out did u have XD i pulled dumbass one day and gaged my ear from a 8 to a 0

  • Jojoba oil =hohoba :D also about if you have 2 inch holes and take em out with pressure they will go back to 2 inch. i dont think thats true. ive had my ears stretched for years max size of 1 inch but anytime i take mine out for more than just a couple of days they SHRINK! all the way to 5/8" and have to be restretched as if they were never stretched before. Shrinking and restretching can SOMETIMES thicken lobes if you have thinning issues as well. im at 1 inch and my lobes are hella fat :( lol

  • My ear is pierced by a gun and im at 14mm now, im going for like 18-20mm. what can happen? Is it dangerous or someting?

  • @MentallyGuitardeded Thankyou!

  • @MrNuggington

absolutely, any piercer will tell you this.

  • @ceebasaurusrex

use the taping method, works wonders , just look it up first online.

  • @heatherlb42

everyone is a bit different but generally 00g is considered the "point of no return"

yet even at this size when your holes finally shrink you will be able to tell you have pierced ears, it just wont look stretched at all. you can also strengthen/speed up the shrinking process by massaging your ears with vitamin e/ or jojoba oil. however if you have your plugs in for years, it may take quite a long time for them to close up. i went from an inch back down to 00g this way before.
