Does liking your whiteness mean to like living in in illusion. Tim wise is very much telling the truth. He should right a book called the Manufacturing of crime. I'm not saying you are not responsible for what you do, but what i am saying is that the conditions for which success grows have been undermined by the laws and institutions of this society. Now if you are not to lazy to read up on scholarly writings on the affects of race then you will no that Mr. wise speaks the truth.

Only a paranoid retard would look at a government policy meant to do one thing (stop drug use) and say that it's meant to do something else (incarcerate minorities).

Is the "War on Drugs" a failed policy? Sure. But it's got nothing to do racism. The reason why poor minorities get swept up more often than whites is because minorities are the dumbasses who sell drugs on the street where cops can easily pick them up.

I think thats racist in and of itself. There is no meaningful genetic difference between the races besides the pigmentation of skin. Black peoples nature is the same as white peoples nature. Only circumstances dictate the outcome of that nature. For the record I'm white, and I respect completely with what Tim Wise is trying to do here as well.

I got five bucks says that if a black family moved next door to Mr. Wise, he would move out in record time.  Ain't that right, Tim?

He grew up in the south and got a teacher fired in high school because she told him to stop hanging out with "black animals" if that gives you any idea where Mr. Wise stands.

When you adjust for economic status, IQ's and s.a.t. scores are virtually the same. Fact is that poor white people test the same as poor blacks and wealthy whites test the same as wealthy blacks. Do not fall for the trick that the wealthy have played on working whites. Making them think that they are somehow superior to other poor people simply because of the pigmentation in their skin. Racism is a mechanism to oppress poor whites by allowing them to think "well at least I am not Black"
