I would love to know what song is playing in that video. It sounds like a "Schoolhouse Rock" type song but I can't find it. Anyone have any idea what the name of it is?

@Shelleymp3 Actually, from what I understand quite a few of the songs used on the PBS run of "Captain Kangaroo" were by some of the same people that were behind "Schoolhouse Rock"...

Yeah I remember watching this skit , but don't remember ever hearing this song. i watched the Captain on CBS, but never saw any of the PBS shows. I wonder how many of the original skits were re-used for PBS ? My favorite segments were Bob Keeshan as the Town Clown. Did PBS ever use any of those skits ?

@CreepysFan I don't know-I want to say no, because almost all of the sketches used on the PBS version were from 1980 or later. There were exceptions, though-such as this episode and a few others that I know of. But I do know that one of the Town Clown segments were released on VHS in the mid-80's (I posted that one on this channel as well, if you haven't found it yet).
