This is my mom's recipe for fast and easy Banh Gio, a Vietnamese favorite. Back in Vietnam, fresh banana leaves is used to wrap the rice cake, which add a distinct aroma. Can be dipped with soy sauce or dressed fish sauce (meaning the fish sauce is mixed with fresh lime, crushed garlic and chili).
