  • a tiny bit on the slow side at the begining but not too bad :)

  • This piece has a mesmerizing simple charm that reminds me a lot of Mozart. To me this is one of Gershwin's most underrated pieces. I heard a recording of this piece played by Gershwin on an old piano roll. I don't know whether Gershwin was at fault or if the piano roll was at fault, but to me this performance was way, way too fast. The piece had lost all of its simple charm IMHO. Unbelievable.

  • V interesting interpretation, thanks for posting!

  • I have heard a recording of the composer playing this piece and it seems that everybody else just didn't quite hear what i heard regarding the phrasing and rhythm. Rocafuerte not only "gets it" but also takes things further, but in the direction that Gershwin was going. Absolutely stunning performance and I must find other performances by Rocafuerte.

  • Beautifuly done. I love the tempo and controlled rubato. It says to me you understand the piece. Thank you. Five Stars.

  • me encanta este PELUDO de Gershwin. Saludos Dr. Roafuerte!

  • Me encanta este preludio de Gershwin. Saludos Dr. Rocafuerte!
