ok huge qustion im a beginer buttt th power chords wear holdin like hit me with ur best shot wear holdin to strings do we only strum them twoo strings or alll 6?

@A7XTT5041 For power chords, you would only strum the strings that you hold down. If you were to hold a power chord shape and strum all the strings, you would be playing an Open Barre Chord. These, when done in the right places, sound beautiful (assuming you don't have too much distortion on)

ok im a beginner and mine just sounds too natural like no distortion what do i do???

@sammijinxxed I would start by checking whether or not your amp has a "Gain" or channel switch. If it has a knob on it titled "Gain" just go ahead and dump that sucker to about 4 or 5 o'clock (so that it is pointing down and to the right)... if there is no option to do any of this, you need a distortion pedal. you can find them at varying prices, but i'd always recommend a BOSS brand. hope this helps!
