I have a charcoal etching I did back in 1980 I did that looks just like this. My inspiration was feeling like the guy in the photograph and a picture in a book I had in my possession at the time. I am right now looking for it in my garage since I didn't chuck it. I got rid of a lot of things when I was younger that I wish I had not now. To see this in your swell video was very startling to say the least. When I find it I will post it for you so you can see what I see.

@callmemisterscott That is very cool. Yes, this was done from a photograph... probably the same one. I think it might have been from a book of fine photos taken during the Great Depression years.

@callmemisterscott I can't remember if it was Makers Mark, Jim Beam or Johnny Walker... but it was that plus the increased evidence of indigent people here in downtown Chicago.
