All playing with computer keyboard using a software called virtual musical instrument. http://www.maizesoft.cn/cms/?q=zh-hans/node/15 December 26th, 2004. The first VMI computer band demonstrate the system in a show of Zhejiang University. This is a video clip of that demo.
We used 5 laptops (including synth server) and Yamaha SXG100 soft synth. Two of the laptops are placed in the front of the stage running VG2, they are in charge of lead guitar and rhythm guitar. Another two are placed at the end of the stage running VD2 and VK2. The bass part share a computer with the drum part. The song is called "brilliant days" .
