Israel didn't do any 9-11 attacks on Turkey - why suddenly pick on them. You know why - as soon as Erdogan was elected, it was a guarantee that he would suddenly find some reason to wreck relations. That's how he intends to keep himself in power, just like Ahmedinejad, by stoking up foreign conflict and nationalism to milk votes. A cunning vote-getting scheme.

You are again absolutely wrong! Byzantine empire was multiethnic but the main national group that also defined the empire's official language, was Hellenic .

On the other hand the word "turkey" has never been in use anywhere in the world, it had never been a country or a definition of a national group. Only in 1920's turkey began to exist as well as "turkish" national feeling. There were never such things like "turkey" , "turkism" .
