I am a rabid Penn State fan, and (still) love and respect Coach Paterno, but outside of JoePa, Bill Snyder has my highest respect. To accomplish what he has done in his first run and now have his team on the precipice of a national title run is remarkable. Bill Snyder, IMO is bigger than anything a national title would bring. You are supposed to win at Ohio State, USC, Texas, Notre Dame. It takes a special person to do so at Kansas State...the crystal ball would make him an immortal.

But for a coach to take a team who still has the 3rd most lossss in all.of college football and from them to not making their 1st bowl game in 85 years. To what they are now. Still amazes me. How?
