Stick it all in a PotPal and save the fiddling at the start. A Multifunction heat mitt/towel and storage bag - easy!! Great vid and demo.

I had my Trangia for 25 years and it still works excellent, I did replace the burner with a Gas model (faster). Everything els is original.

In Japan, this is a stove trusted most in a marketed stove. It is かまど (kamado) itself. The Japanese is very favorite form. A stove that is more excellent than this is not thought. Thank you very much for posting!

I see in this video there is a plate over the pan when the kit is disassembled whitch is not included in any other kits , is this something you added or is this an older bit of kit not seen around today, I would like to add one to this kit

I just got 2 of these stoves for my sponcerd trip by Vango.
They are so easy to use and so so so reliable

What is that cook set called? Or better yet, where to get one?

Do the pots and pans get black?

If you discount set up time then the MSR is way faster than a Trangia at boiling stuff but the MSR is noisy and because it has moving parts more likely to break down, I will freely admit I've never seen or even heard of an MSR breaking down but it must be a possibility as it has moving parts.
I have however seen other MSR type stoves break down.
you should leave the upper guard off until you have lit the meth, cause when the meth is cold it can take a while to light.

I don't have a problem lighting the stove with the upper shield on even in mid winter?
