@Deerwoman1976 . I've noticed this too, also in other photos. In one of the biographies, his aunt (the one that raised him) has said that out of all the characters he's played, the closest match to the real James was Cal Trask in East of Eden...

When I was 13 James Dean changed my life. He was there at the start of youth culture, Rock&Roll, the 1960s counter-culture, and everything that sprang from that. I wish teenagers today weren't into people with no talent like the Spice Girls, thinking of money, 'bling', or being a pimp like Snoopy Doggy Dog, and instead read some books, watch some decent films & listen to music with some meaning... the world would be a better place, with a future to look forward to.

I wish he would born and be an actor again.... I LOVE HIM SOOO MUCH!
i believe he was a mature man he had to be because he grow up without a mom and a dad because he send him to his uncles, he did have some suport but practically have to grow alone and became something alone. sadly he died.
