I don't see how slavery can be linked to homosexual acts. I believe that God loves the sinner, but hates the sin therefore he hates homosexual acts as they are a distortion of what God intends for us.

This man is no more a bishop than my cocker spaniel. His orders are invalid because the "church" that conveyed the orders is false and has no power to ordain. This is why the episcopalians are in a muddle, submitting truth to popular vote, and why this phony enterprise that worships man and only man will implode. All protestant denominations will follow suit.

But the Bible does not justify slavery, it condemns the practice see Ex21.16. The NT recognised that in the Roman world slavery existed, & there wasn't anything the NT church could do to change that.So it wasn't the Bible that justified slavery,it was people who twisted the Bible to make it mean what they want it to say. The lesson to learn from that is *don't twist the Bible to make it fit your agenda* - & that lesson doesn't support Robinson - it totally rebukes him!

He makes a compelling point, they used GODs word to justify slavery and now they use it to condemn homosexuals.
