@Jspurlock1234 Bible packing Geologists went looking for evidence of a global flood over 200 years ago. They did not find any. They found distinct layers of different kinds of rock with different fossil in them. Floods don't do that. They discovered it must have taken millions of years to make what we see. They knew the earth was Millions of years old before radiometric dating was invented and showed it was Billions of years old.
@Glad1kun It's actually getting tied back to circa 23000 ybp with certain species. Simply put, the next time someone asks you why the global flood couldn't have happened as per any set of myths they happen to be espousing you can answer with one word, dendrochronology. That's what I do :-)
Googled, read that there are ~11000 years of uninterrupted chronological data. Which makes global flood even less likely.
What about genetic deterioration of species resulted from continuous inbreeding? This would have been a result of population bottleneck caused by flood+Noah's ark. We even have an example of such thing in modern species. Cheetah had troubles around 10000 years ago that resulted in low population and continuous inbreeding. They are not happy.
@Jspurlock1234 I don't want to and will not "believe". Show some proof.
Global flood couldn't have happened. Why? Mammoths. Last of the them went extinct around 3,5 thousand years ago on a remote island near Kamchatka. They couldn't possibly have survived global flood. And yet...
Anyone who doesn't believe that the "World-Wide flood" happened is living in a dream-world because all of the evidence points to it, and there are very few things that support evelution--even Carl and his guest admit that.
I am not putting any atheist down out there just because they believe in evolution because I used to believe in evolution myself until I woke-up and smelled the coffee. love you anyway. We need to get rid of this idea in this technological age were in.
@70spock And guess what you'll find.....that the fossils that they are so busy chatting away about are directly contradicting their flood myth. The total biomass just in the fossils we know about shows clear proof that Noah's Flood never happened. Coal seams, Limestone deposits, simple animal fossils themselves all show this. No global flood. Local ones? Sure, there's data to support that. A one-year global? Nope. Then we can look at rock chemistry for more data.

@Glad1kun That they are, they're just harder to date.

@falchion49 Dendrochronology what?

Hello to whoever,
