One 6990 Graphics Card= $699 + One DD Water Block= $160
Total $860= Ouch!!
Can't complain if you're making $50k > per year.

The contact plate side of that waterblock looks machined machined, though it could just be the lighting and camera angle. But appears the Machinist avoided using bit changes to smooth out the cuts.

What water cooling kit would you recommend for this and a lga 1555 socket

@dangerden Any GPU shots yet? I would like to see how well its cooling the hole card. I like that your the only one not overpricing your 6990 block, And so far they all seem to cool about the same. Im sure you get comments saying it's ugly, But in most PC case's all you see is the backplate. So why are people paying more for something you can't see, Ill never understand.

Great to hear your answer =)
It would be great IF you had show the GPU-Z sensor tab at MAX.... GPU temp is not the only factor, VRM temps are way more important than those and they are made to release great part of the heat inside the pcb... you probably know all that... but great instalation video the only part you freaked me out was with that screwdriver near the cores ¬¬

@arfmf I'll get some screen shots with GPU-Z in the next day or two for a check. Yeah, I didn't like the screwdriver really...but that thermal compound was very stuck on the edges!
