People got so caught up in the Sex in this movie. I can tell you as a 90's kid this is a very accurate interpretation.Top 100 ranked movie. I can remember being 15 sitting in a abandoned car with my homies smoking weed and drinking a 40oz.
I made out alright though. No jail time or anything like that. Kids is really important because if I ever have children i'll know why it's important to supervise them. Which is the point of the movie. Where were the parents? Good Question. Watch your Kids.

Larry Clark hit it right on the nail with this film, when your at that age living in an environment like that all you care about is trying to get drunk, high and layed. He also did a great job of portraying a teenage skater subculture that wasn't being portrayed in film and showing things for how they really are like kids smoking weed in the park,wearing certain name brand clothing, drinking 40's, listening to graphic rap music and calling each other "nigga" even though their white.
