i have (neuro) sarcoidosis. diagnosed back n 06. mine got caught early.. neuro cuz it made me blind n my left eye. prednisone is not da answer. it INDUCED my panic attackz that i was already havin goin thru this. got off dat and took methotrexate, also not good. it got on my liver too much. FINALLY, I got on mychophenolate aka "cellcept" da real name. been on it since 07 and doin great. hope this info helpz and im prayin for u all. im so thankful for my docz and to be alive..

it is caused from mold, bacteria and yeast...that is why it runs in families...sarcoidosis can also be misdiagnosed but really Lyme disease, could be many things really...keep your blood alkaline and cleanse your digestive system of toxins

i know thats right some thing s just should not run in the family ..because me and my mom have it and her mom had it ..i got it when i was a sr in high school i could not g to my class trip almost miss my finals and prom ..and that predisone is a TRIP but god love us and i am thank ful for my life

would love to share...prednisone messed with my mood these last 2 times I took it. at an earlier stage, i was given methotrexate, but that messed with my hormones. I, too, was diagnosed around 2000, and my life has changed ever since...

We need to increase the awareness of this condition. Bernie Mac's PR person says the Pneumonia had nothing to do with Sarcoidosis. If this person were a physician and not a PR person I would be less reluctant to believe that the 2 conditions were unrelated to one another.
