RZ50 1988 first starting after restoration,not been run since 1993 possibly

When I bought this bike a couple of years ago it had been stood since 1993 unused, the tires had perished,the tank was a mess and lots of rust,engine was time siezed, I was struggling to find parts so had to refurbish what I could.
I managed to free the engine up and decided not to split it as the mileage was very low.
This vid is of the first running of the engine since 1993 and as you can see she is lovely now

All taxed and mot, I have been at its top speed now that was an impressive 100kph with six gears it is very quick for a 50

@TheFS1Eman I had an RZ way back in about 1989. I don't know id we had a different state of tune in South Africa, but a good RZ would see at least 130 kmh

The RZ has actually reached 115 kmh now dont think it will do any more without extra tuning but in its standard form I know they do tune up more but I dont want to mess about with it too much as its reliable and fast enough thanks for watching

I love RZ 50, I had one when I was 17 (1987) just like this one.I rebuilt the moto and arrange all most all parts.

OMG! I remember mine exactly the same but with a top fairing, bring back memories!! They were magic bikes never had problems
