@FridatUtube You live in Sweden right? I live in Norway and i haven't heard anything about making wing clipping forbidden. Bird experts, the vet, the store i bought the bird from and everyone recommend wing clipping for safety. This cockatiel is a girl and girls are harder to tame then boys. The boy was very easy to tame but the girls was harder and i flew away everytime i touched her. Thats why i clipped her wings. Does this answer you question?

@FridatUtube clipping wings is recommended for safety and its easier to tame the bird when they don't fly away everytime you touch them. And NO, its not ignorant to say that clipping their wings is like clipping my hair or nails. It IS just like clipping your hair or nails.

@KayDFlo There are many toturials on youtube, but I can try to help you. First bird needs to be young. Talk to it 10 min two times everyday untill it gets used to you. Then you can try to feed him with you hand. Millet works best. Move the hand closer to him. Try to make him jump on your hand to eat. And then after a while he sould be tame. :) Search on google for toturials. There are many good toturials that show you how to tame you bird step by step. :)
