believe it or not, I went on a Tuesday and couldnt find 1 cabbie who would take me to Blue Beach. I went to Sun Bay and the water was rough and deep, and no one around. I took a cab to airport and flew to Culebra and Flamenco beach. They need to upgrade the roads to red and blue and their overall tourism, especially cabs.. The island could give St. John a run but they gotta get better.

You're American an you cannot properly distinguish "to" and "too". I'd say that's pretty stupid.

I went with 5 other Americans and was not frowned at once for the whole week.
And the food as amazing. Both Esparanza and Isabel Segundo are wonderful fascinating towns -- in quite different ways. I recommend this island ESPECIALLY because of the locals, the vacationers from PR, and the wild horses.
But mainly, of course, the water!! Americans always thing poverty, or unkempt landscape equals danger. That's true stateside, but not in ALL the world. Peace Out.
