hah, I didn't know gabriel woolf voiced the beast for the impossible planet/the satan pit--he certainly does have an impressive voice.

I always loved how Ian and Barbara were not very likable to start with and then became much more nicer characters later on.

#10 makes me weep every time. #9 is an obvious and very good choice. #8 is awesome, and I learned something I didn't already know from watching your video...though I'm ashamed I didn't know it. Bad Whovian!

Absolutely! The dialogue, the delivery of it, the set, the costumes, even the simple effect used all add up to a brilliant scene!

Well I'm trying to not have too many from the new series since it's only 4 seasons vs. 26 for classic, however the new series seems to have these kind of iconic moments by design moreso then classic. I'm going to limit new series to 3 or perhaps 4 entries.

The new Series is on fairly solid ground, I think. It may not yet equal classic Who at its finest, but the new Series is definitely better than classic Who in its declining years.

The new Series has a great budget, and CGI, but the scripts often fall far short of classic Who's best.

Of course, it would be unrealistic to expect every new script to equal "Pyramids of Mars", but more heart and character and less reliance on spectacular CGI would be nice at times.
