  • sorry brother from you biggist fans i for got to give you an email. here it is. im_mrmomtoo@yahoo.com thanks again from my girls and me.

  • @stweedyc: Thanks for the kind words! I get so much email (including comments on videos, requests that I look at and pass judgment on videos, etc.) that I'm unable to respond personally. I gave these videos away for free--more than 200--but beyond that, I'm forced to charge for my professional services. I do hope you can understand. If you'd like more personalized teaching, please check out my website, Modern Blues Harmonica. The page marked "harmonica teachers" has a list you should see.

  • Hey adam, what you are doing is amazing. I've gone back to these early lessons after going through all the rest. I've got all of part 1 (minus the overblows) but the second part poses some trouble. On the high harps I'm always getting stuck on the high notes. In Tunky Fing I'm getting stuck on part 2 on holes 8 and 9. Any suggestions to stop the sticking?

  • I don't really have any suggestions. Sticking reeds could be because the reeds are gapped a little too tightly--too close to the coverplate--or because your embouchure is off. I can't tell which at long distance.

  • hi, your pretty good how long have you been playing?

  • 33 years.

  • hey adam, just wanting you to know your great! im a single father of two girls and they love music just as i do. one plays a flute my next wants to play the trumpet just as i did for 5 years in grade school, jr. high and only my sophomore. we would love it if sometime you could email us so we could chat personally. we would love nothing more in this lile at this moment to just talk to you. my girls and i ask one more thing since we practice with your video's, please include the chord for each 1

  • I have a question, how did you make that sound at the begining of the song around 2:39-2:40

  • At 1:36 Adam touches on the subject of muscle memory's wonderful skills. One of the many wonders of the human body.

  • I always pick up Something from every Adam video like this.

The highest bent note he plays from the J Geils Band.......I found i can do it, it's a tongue in the mouth movement.

It will take me a while to get accurate though.

And the 4 and 8 holes together while blocking 5 6 and 7......yeah ....nice to know.

    Thanks Adam

  • it looks like your "POP" sounds comes from when you move the harp away from mouth and cough and pop and move the harp back to your mouth

  • Hey thanks for the videos, it's really getting me into Harmonica. I was just wandering what the advantages are of also being able to tongue block, and how you are using it to your advantage by switching between lip pursing and tongue blocking in this song. If there's is a video that you have which explains this just direct me to it. Again thanks very much for the videos!
