  • @blaqueboi8705 1 gigapixel = 1 billion megapixels. They stitch all the photos together to make one massive picture. Search for "360 degree london panorama" and click the first link. It's the world record holder for the most number of pixels in a single image. 80 billion pixels to be exact with 7886 individual images where you can zoom right in and look around, it's definately worth a look... :)

  • what on earth is a gigapixel

  • Is the robotic tripod head for sale? to the public?

  • @maxrappard it stitches photos together, making a 1.5 gigapixel panorama.

  • so that camera has 1.5 gigapixel and this video isn't even available in 1080p? seems legit.

  • OPENING 1,5Gb with paint?

  • is that a camera on a telescope stand!? how can this be done!

  • That's cheating!

and you are missing all the fun by pointing and shooting!

  • Wait, Sony Proffesional makes a Security system that uses multiple 1080p video sensor on a precision oscillator to monitor vast landscapes. 1080p is just one of the "Cells" they use in some that may have 16*32 1080p Cells.
