Tara Kaye Sharp, 18, of North Vernon died Wednesday morning, April 30, 2008, in a traffic accident near her home.
Tara was a senior at Jennings County High School, where she had been a member of the dance team. She attended the first semester of her freshman year in Syria at ICARDA International School of Aleppo, and had attended elementary school at Pope John School in Madison, and St. Mary's and Brush Creek Schools in Jennings County. She was employed at Pizza Hut in North Vernon and assisted her stepfather with Big Kahuna D.J. Service. She was a member of Coffee Creek Christian Church near Paris Crossing and enjoyed dancing, animals, music and climbing.
She was born Feb. 13, 1990, in Beech Grove.
Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Josh and Teresa Sullivan Taylor of Dupont; her father, Glen D. Sharp, III of Franklin; a son, Colin Riley Sharp at home; her fiance, Ryan Davidson of North Vernon; a sister, Shea Lilian Taylor of Dupont; grandparents, Mike and Wanda Sullivan of North Vernon; step-grandparents, Tom and Diana Taylor of North Vernon; great-grandmother, Nola Andress of Anchorage, Alaska; and step-great-grandmother, Lois Sullivan of Deputy
