  • Good ride-playing! Wirh a nice and comfortable french grip! Very good Bryan. :-)

  • @jensfreak Thanks! I don't use french grip due to a tendon problem I developed, I use a more american grip. I might upload a newer video since I'm much better now. I'll be uploading my ACTUAL playing soon, getting a zoom q3.

  • great skill my friend!

  • @YouOriginal thanks!

  • Hey there, I was looking around the drummerworld forums and saw your thread. Just wanna ask how were you exactly playing this ride pattern? Something like push-pull? or like doubles?

  • @Volentry well, i kind of release my fingers and then pick the stick back up, kind of a throw catch thing with bounces in between. Look up john riley ride cymbal technique, he has a great explaination of it.

  • Hey, I'm lurking around the Drummerworld forums and just stumble on this, figured I'd commend you on your technique. Both grips have a really nice and relaxed feel, good stuff!
