This reality with science saved you from death but this reality also caused you to suffer gangrenous appendicitis so we can't really say that you would have died from it without science as you may not have got it in the first place. However, in a world without science everyone would die much earlier than they do now.

@ktrigg2 I didn't notice that someone else jumped into the conversation
When I wrote "Yet you are quick" and "It was good for YOU", refer to weurRTG not you.
-
@jeffiek All right, one more time. Oh, and until YOU learn to read, you will not only be useless, but irritating. AND, I expect a reasonable response.
"the invention of the automobile, and the development of the Interstate Highway system," - this defines the scope of my comments
"It amazes me" - this means that I am amazed
"that scientists and atheists fail to cast a critical look at the rest of life." - this is what I am amazed at.
-
@jeffiek good bye? why are you leaving? I was just trying to understand what you are saying. Is it just a problem with the highway systems you have? Or a more general point to the message of the video?
Until you learn to communicate and explain yourself without emotionally overt outbursts, you will continue to be as useless as you have proven yourself to be on this thread.
-
@ktrigg2 "my god, " ?????
"I still have no idea what your point is. "
And unless you learn to think, you never will.
Good bye.

@jeffiek my god, i had no idea the number of deaths VASTLY outweighed the number of people who use the highways without incident! LOL who is generalizing? You are condemning highways based on the amount of deaths. Relative to what alternative to transportation? The highways were great for everyone until someone died. I still have no idea what your point is. You can say this about everything in the natural world. And military? What does that have to do with anything?
-
@ktrigg2 I meant exactly what I wrote.
The auto and highway were merely coincidental, not causal. Yet you are quick to praise them, not take a critical look at them.
That is the logical fallacy of hasty generalization. It was good for YOU, ignore the rest of the world.
(FYI - The Interstate highway system was built for MILITARY reasons, not to save your life.)
-
@jeffiek what is your point? or are you being humorous? sarcastic?
1) I was born and my mother survived it
2) I cut my head open and the doctors stitched it up(60 stitches)
3) I had appendicitis and instead of prayers I received an appendectomy
4) I've never ingested a water-born disease from drinking water, not because I pray, but because a scientist figured out a way to purify it
For reference, Jesus promised the end of all the wicked people on earth. Odin promised the end of all the ice giants. I don't see many ice giants around.

When i was 2, i was diagnosed with asthma, which required a oxygen tank for 6 mounths. I have add, adhd, and ocd. I also have major deprssion, and have a growing problem. I have terrible allergies, along with a severe sinus infection followed by an ear infection every mounth . I was born the wrong way, upside down, and the imbilicil cord wrapped around my neck. At birth I had 3 days to live. Im now a freshman in High school playing varsity hockey. I owe my entire life to science, and i know it.
