Elton John was on fire from about 1971 to 1976. Though he has had many memorable songs, the five year period I just mentioned had more fantastic songs on the albums than the radio ever knew. BTW, Mandy Moore has a very nice version of this song if you haven't heard it.

It`s hard to believe that songs like this only get a few hits, great music...I remember buying these albums....now theres people like the devils midget ( Justin bieber ) getting all the hits
