This plane was constructed from donated RC parts of other planes that crashed over the year which is why it's called a frankestein plane. A bit of Corplas, a wing from a quarter scale beaver, the rear half of a Sig 110 Rascal, and a converted Ryobi gas engine !

  • I love that you used a Ryobi engine. Is this from a trimmer? How did you set up your carburetion, and what fuel? Great project!

  • Yes, I believe it is. I am not the pilot who built the plane, but the engine carb/throttle can be hooked up using a 90 degree double armed control arm. You would have to see it to understand. Your best bet is to search RCUniverse for carb pictures.
