  • Dude. Your awesome Nutnfancy. i've learned tons of stuff from the various videos. I want 2 be more like u. : ) keep em comin.

  • Dude. Thanks man, that's extremely cool of you to say. Keep watching, more to come.

  • I'm afraid I don't really follow your point. If you're referring to my reference to the elitism for internal frame packs I will say my observation is accurate. That's not a "put down" that's just the outgrowth of why you will have such a hard time finding a large external frame pack. Because many will criticize such a choice as foolish and outdated when in fact it's probably best. No matter though, unless the ratings come up, you'll see no more bp gear vids from me. It's too much work.

  • @OregonBackpacker YES! If you can make the time to make this for us Nutn it would be really appreciated!

  • Thanks to these videos, I ended up with a 70 litter gregory beltaro. Can't wait to take it out and give it a go

  • backpacks acannot really be put into general classes. two backpacks of the same weight and volume (or similar) can be used for two totaly different things. My examples are the gregory denali pro 105 and the eberlestock v90 (99liters) battleship: the denali is a mountaineering backpack while the eberlestock is a military/hunting pack.

  • speaking as someone who uses both internal and external gear you are dead on with the limitations of internal frame packs I'm always astounded at the amount of gear I find pitched by people on the AT( I live close to the start and hike it a lot), who 9 times out of 10 have tried some crazy packing in an internal frame pack that didn't work.

  • Hey everyone and nutnfancy check out the large internal pack I just reviewed. Think it's a improvement over the pack shown in this video. Like to know what you think

  • Hey Nutnfancy, I am hoping you can post a reply to this. Enjoying your video let me first say and I will most likely look at many of your other videos. My question: I am looking at a backpack here and there is "sizes" (Small, Medium, Large), but I just so happen to see that Cubic inches were affiliated with the different sizes...Are these sizes refering to the size of the pack? Im only asking because I am not a big guy and it's possible I am mistaking these different sizes as something to fit me

  • internal frames are not meant to have stuff dangling from them. they are meant to stick close to your body to improve balance.

  • Great backpack reviews, it's always more interesting & useful knowing what actual users think about gear rather than manufacture's specs. info........Internal rucksacks are based on mountain climbing packs, where keeping the weight close to your body for maximum stability is essential, so external pockets & a lot of attachment points defeat the object of these packs as added equipement on the outside may / will pull the bag off your back like external framed packs often do.....thanks again.
