455 squat, 335 bench 17 yr old 165 lbs. Nick will hit a legit 500 lb squat and 350 lb bench in the next few months......Not bad for someone who had ACL Surgery only 9 months ago.
Now for all of you who have the IQ of a mustard seed and think "soccer players shouldn't lift weights" - just read this
http://www.ppcchicago.com/articles/soccer_conditioning.php
BTW - If you don't like this article take it up with Charles Poliquin who has the greatest training resume in history
http://www.charlespoliquin.com/AboutUs/AboutCharles.aspx
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Poliquin
He's only coached over 400 Olympians......All that heavy lifting really slowed down 250 lb Vernon Davis.....How many soccer players run a high 4.3 40 yard dash???????
