What happened to the chime at the BEGINNING of the song? Its not the same song without the chime.

I hate to say this because you will judge and be...un~lennon like but the dream is not over, it goes on. John is so much more than a legand, he's coming back. I never thought I could compare anyone to any of the beatles but this generation is about to get the beatles...and I am the walrus

I first heard this song at age 10 in 1980. I played it on an old fashioned record player.
I can see my innocent self, wow those were good times, very good times indeed.

@frazettastone I just finished reading a R.S. issue that had a full transcript of his interview from tapes lost since being recorded- 3 days before he was murdered.
As he said: Some people were pushing really hard for just his stuff + if push had come to shove, there'd have been NO album. So maybe, even if the songs aren't your cup of tea or you would have rather them split instead of alternating: you could just be thankful that she was around to INSPIRE him.
Just a thought.
