  • @velazquez2011 I know that both of us admire Natalie Dessay as an actress and as a person along with her singing. I also know that in an interview with Charlie Rose Dessay not only, at the mention of Sutherland, called her "a phenomenon, but went on describing the virtues of her voice, but at the very end, in a few words, said "but at the same time said only "but she was not an actress. IT WAS A DIFFERENT TIME." Back then a lot of singers didn't do much acting. Voice only was it.

  • @NEBESHIKU lol

  • The accompanist in the 1981 Masterclass is Roger Vignoles.

  • @SenseAndSpite LOL!

  • @NEBESHIKU Why thank you! There's nothing I love better than eliciting laughter.

  • @SenseAndSpite thanks for the laugh! If that is the best you can do then you will NEVER make me feel nothing more than pity and amusment toword you...

  • @NEBESHIKU Maria Callas, LA PUTTANA DIVINA :)

  • @silvr94 I think so, yes.

  • Now if only one could understand what La Stupida is saying.

  • ok yes great voice and sympathetic woman but she is not an actress and she looks silly while singing and that is irritiating in a way...
