I would help by purchasing homes and making them more affordable for people to live in. This could be achieved through many ways. It would take a million dollars, but in return it would supply a stable environment for families and/or individuals who are looking for a hand up, not a hand out. What would you do? music0477?

That is just ONE of the things I would do. Matter of fact I posted a video on that some time back. I would "aim" the homes that I sell to the people who have been hardest hit by the recession and other factors would apply like how many children, their income (if any), I would also investigate personal things too, like, are they drug addicts? Alcoholics? If they are, I would recommend going to rehab, getting clean and then applying again.

Then I buy one or two very large homes and keep them especially for the homeless people so they would have a warm safe place to stay. Then while they are there, I would contact some of the employment agencies and local colleges and try to get them started in a new life or career.

But it doesn't stop there, I'd try to start a place where people could donate their old vehicles (even car lots who take trade ins, after all, it's a tax deduction for them). Then get some volunteer mechanics to work a couple hours here and there to fix them and get them back on the road again .. safely.Then the cars would go to people who really need them. I donated a car some years back to a family who were burnt out of their home, they lost their home, garage and everything that they own.

I feel that with all the "excess" money that the government have, THEY should be doing this to help out the little people of the U.S. ... NOT the big guys who have enough to last them a life. Remember, it's always been the "poor people" who have been helping the poor people when they need it while the big guy just sits back and enjoys life without struggles.

I got to say one more thing, aside from the responses that are posted here, I've gotten at least 50 emails regarding this ... you would not believe how many people think of themselves first ... you are definately a horse of a different color. You're one of very very few and there should be more people like you around ... the world would be a better place !!!

i would buy 5 or more big houses and i would keep the homeless in them then give them the money they needed for eduction, food and clothing. and i have more but that's all i want to type.

tbh i dont need a million for me but still try my luck with the lottery...if i had a million or two to share id love to spend it on children in all the war torn countries throught the world as they are the future and the ones that deserve it most..they could have all the things they dream of and as many toys and as much sweets and healthy food they could eat.

hopefully when they grew up they would ban all religions, wars and also ban all despotic leaders from ever having power again.
