1974 Corvette 454 test drive and inspection. Does it get any better than a black Corvette with a 454, sidepipes, and a 4 speed? This editor doesn't think so. Judge for yourself.

  • for the right person, who could do all the work himself, this would great...but not at $24,900 !!!!!!!!!....come on, if i had 25 grand i would put it down on a new Z06....nice car though, but not for that kind of money...

  • @flauretta Read the other posts....we didn't even get close to $25k for this car. It still amazes me this this completely incorrect beater car is one of our highest viewed videos on youtube.

  • some bubbles? bull shit.

  • @JJM11597 Okay yeah, the paint sucked. It matched the rest of the car though ;)

$24,900....get the f**k out of here! I'd pay that if it was a mint 69' or 67' but to me thats a showroom price on a car that doesn't belong in a show room.

  • @andyconda603 Car was consigned, and consignee was not realistic with his initial price...ending up selling for around $15,000.

    BTW, if you can find a mint 67 for $25,000, we'll pay you a $5,000 buyer's fee.

  • Lol smog era

  • Is this car worth $24k no, but its certainly not a piece of crap. There are some compromises on this car, but at the end of the day its a big block [assuming original LS4] 4 speed corvette, in the last year possible, and aside from the T-tops and handful of blemishes, the paint seems to be halfway decent driver quality. I think $15 is still a tad high for the car, but not unreasonable. At the end of the day, the seller represented fairly

  • @commandokell Depends on the year for me -- no factory side exhaust from 1970-present, so this one doesn't do it for me either.

  • meh, for some reason side pipes just dont appeal to me on a vette
