This video is part of a project I am working on for my MA in History at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. This thesis will focus on the built environment of Charlotte College. The College moved to the site wedged between NC Highways 29 and 49 in 1960 and officially opened for classes there in the Fall of 1961. The original Charlotte College buildings were designed by Charlotte architect A.G. Odell, Jr. This thesis will center on the Original Concept and Design for Charlotte College (1959-1965).
