The CSUN men's basketball team defeated the 49ers 100-61 in a game that was televised on Fox Sports Prime. Five Matadors scored in double-figures, led by Deon Tresvant's 19. Jayme Miller had a career-high 18 points along with 9 rebounds. Calvin Chitwood had 14 points and 7 rebounds in his first game back from a high ankle sprain that cost him two games. Josh Jenkins was once more magnificent at the point, scoring 9 and dishing out 11 assists. Paul Wayne backed up Jenkins with 3 assists and 4 steals.
Jonathan Heard had 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Tremaine Townsend had 12 points and 8 rebounds after missing the last game. Walk-on guard Rai Colston came in during the final minutes and scored with 12 seconds left to get CSUN to the 100 point mark for the first time this season.
