This hardly a satire though. It's a montage of images from pre-1950 (including one from Birth of a Nation which was controversial THEN) shoved on the end of a film made in the year 2000. I miss the old Spike from the "Do the Right Thing" days, where he actually presented racial divides as a difficult and heartbreaking issue, rather than this Kill Whitey shit where just blurts out 1970s black panther crap.

when i was watching this movie, this ending creeped me out. it was kind of horrific without showing any blood or gore. i think that's what he was trying to leave the viewer with, an unsettling feeling, that this type of shit isn't too far from what's going on in today's world.
