i would seriously hope jet engine and emissions technology have advanced since then. I know you're post is a year old, but DAMN that's stupid.

Military would do everything they could to eliminate trails just from a strategy standpoint. Easy track bombers don't make it home.

Also, better tech since, minimum efficiency standards on engines and fuel.

Used to love watching old aircraft smoke across the sky... passenger jets didn't though, till recently.
