@wontonga For what it's worth, Lorayne's memory systems (so far as I've read) center around paying attention in the first place and using association tricks so that information can be recalled later. I'm currently halfway through "The Memory Book", and he hasn't given any advice on how to remember things that have been forgotten. He says that things are "forgotten" because they weren't "remembered" well enough in the first place. So maybe that explains it.
