Interview with notable African-American poet and journalist Frank Marshall Davis. Frank is mentioned in Barack Obama's "Dreams From My Father," as a drinking buddy of his grandfather and an African-American that made an impression on the now President as a young man growing up in Hawaii. The Film & Media Archive partnered with the Center for Labor Education and Research (CLEAR) at the University of Hawaii West Oahu to preserve the interview.

Note: this is not the complete interview. A transcript of the complete interview can be found on the Film & Media Archive's website: http://library.wustl.edu/units/spec/f...
