This is good. The animation and voice acting are almost flawless.

One thing's for sure. Those japanese people really know how to draw females. Man, do they know how to draw women.

Macross is way better than Robotech.But guess we in Britain and America had to have our bread and butter and eat it i spose.But its all Macross in the end either way and thus it is good question?? cause this is a thing that has been puzzling me In Robotech they had the Invid in Macross I dont think they did did they. now in Macross Frontier we have a race called the Vajira a hive mind conciousness very simliar to the Invid even led by a queen that could be compaired to the Regus in Robotech.

@tijuarero88 not quite... The Macross section of Robotech and the Japanese version are more or less the same-- just minor differences in editing and content. The animation of the two series is the same. This video here is from the theatrical remake of the Japanese version of the series. It came after the series.

yes this is an alternate version. Macross (first part of the Robotech saga) was almost exactly as in the Robotech first generation, with some "minor changes"

This movie came up after the Macross tv series.

Too bad: 1) playlist is scrambled. 2) english subs don't allow reading the spanish 3) there is no part 3

The Macross TV series has a better story and, of course, more character development than this. This movie was meant to be a movie made for the people of Macross after the real life events happened.

I love watching it just for the great action and artwork.

not really . in my view robotech just glued to other series and called itself a show . i would compare robotech to voltron
