I play drums in a song called "THE WINNER WILL BE BURIED ALIVE" by an amazing band TRAINDODGE. This song is off of their Under Black Sails EP, whose title definitely reminds me of "Tales of The Black Freighter" from WATCHMEN.

This lil'ditty taken from Under Black Sails EP is, in my opinion, rock'n'roll in a nutshell made of hate and steel. It has a mere songs on it, but by far sounds better than 90% of the music being made in the world today. It grooves smoother than your granny's waddle and hits harder than a hickory stick over the head. I suggest begging the good merchants at Ascetic Records
(http://www.asceticrecords.com/flash/) for a copy.

There is raw sound, however I shot from two angles and then decided to see if I could edit from the same source material through my headphones. It worked, kinda.

  • How old is this? Did Rob lose weight or did you get a new drummer? WTF?

  • @Missanthropic74 This is about a year and a half old. LOL! I'm not Rob Smith. I guess I could see how this could be confusing.

  • nice cover!!! good work!!

    you have good taste fella!

i love the beginning of this song because is sounds so "behind the beat". like, there is some sort of beat displacement. in any how, i love this song and totally love this band! they have so many songs and parts of songs that sound huge... and i mean HUGE!!!!!

  • Yeah! HUGE DOOOD!

Om, I guess for the beat displacement thing you are really trying hard to talk about that is actually me being slightly off time from what I was trying to editorially accomplish with two different angles and two different takes. But yeah.

    Song done rules.
