B'H, as is written in Torah, it is not difficult to do, this One does NOT burden me. On the other hand the Torah She b'al pe is burdensome sometimes to me because there is no "practical logic" behind it. In my opinion as a Jew and as the Rambam would state many times in the Guide for the Perplexed, He has his personal opinions on what certain laws mean and what certain scripture is to be interpreted as. In the end B'H man is just man, susceptible to make mistakes due to personal opinions.

The one and only advantage of going Orthodox is that ,while they are a minority among Jews they do dominate Israel. The Karaites are a tiny minority in Israel with no power. Being a Conservative or Reform Jew would give a better degree of comfort in Israel as they are large enough to ward off Orthodox aggression. But when it comes to "theology" the Karaites are pretty solid. Not that I am one I am not.
The Orthodox dictates who will marry even. It has nothing to do with them being "right".
There is the slight problem that The Torah stated that Moses wrote ALL that G-d told him. THUS the "oral Torah" was never so.
