I have only been lucky enough to have seen Julia in concert once and that was in 1994 (I think) when she was promoting this album (which, to this day, remains a desert island disc for me). It was at the Hammersmith Odeon, which is a large venue, yet somehow Julia managed to turn it into a really intimate one to one experience. There are some concerts which are just life affirming. This was one of them. I just wish Julia would come back to England and play some more concerts.

i'm so glad you got this video posted...this is my favorite, i watched this every now and then whenever i miss my late brother, "toti fuentes" (musical director-pianist). this concert was done a month before he passed away. not everyone knew there that he was in terrible pain (stomach cancer) but because music was his life - you could still see him dancing...fantastically amazing!!! i just miss him really.

i was so proud of the back up band of Julia, all of them are very good... and was happy how Julia introduced mr fuentes as the musical director, its obvious that she was fond of him...

do you have a video of that part (where julia introduced him)? if you have, can you possibly post it here please so we can watch it! my family and i would really appreciate it. we are based here in london we didn't had the chance to see his last concerts there in the philippines and your videos are the only one we got. just to tell you as well, two weeks before he passed away(march'08)he done a concert with kevyn lettau and unfortunately they haven't got it here on youtube.

She's absolutely fabulous! Such a pity she has to play concerts at malls :( She deserves the best scenes and best venues. Contrary to so many so called 'artists' and 'stars', her live recordings are a proof that her voice is pure and real.
