My Nokia N95 phone has six types of Exit buttons (to exit an application such as the addressbook or the calendar) they are:
1) Quit
2) Exit
3) Cancel
4) Back
5) Close
6) End
Sometimes the button becomes a No button also.
Only one is going to REALLY quit the application and save battery and processing power.
I think Interaction Design simply happens when you do a lot of Q&A right.

design that "simply happens" is usually bad design

Have you heard of the documentary 'Connecting'? It interviews leading designers from around the world about interaction design and the products of the future. A very worthy watch, can't link the vimeo link here, but Google 'Connecting - 'The Era Of Interaction Design'

seriously? They do it because if you don't then you have no way of knowing if you're creating interfaces that people can actually interact with. One of the reasons most websites suck.
