Durga Puja celebrations

Durga Puja, the greatest religious festival of the country's Hindu community will be celebrated in more than 20 thousand puja pandels across the country. Of them, Puja will be held in more than 150 pandels in the capital alone. The leaders of the Sharbojonin Puja Committee today held a meeting with the RAB officials at the Dhakeshwari Mandir with regard to security arrangements during the puja festival. They identified some puja pandels as risky and called for stringent security measures. The RAB officials have assured that they are on high alert about the security of the puja pandels.
